From November 12 to 14, Turkmenistan will host the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference "Turkmentel-2025" and the International Conference and Exhibition "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development – 2025." For the first time, these two major forums have been combined into a single venue, allowing participants to discuss the prospects for digitalization, innovation, and transport integration in the context of sustainable development.
According to the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan, this significant event in the information and communications technology region will serve as a platform for the exchange of experiences, opinions, and new achievements in high technology. Representatives of government agencies, international organizations, scientists, experts, and businesspeople from Turkmenistan and other countries will participate in the forum.
The focus will be on showcasing achievements and discussing challenges in digital development, telecommunications, satellite technologies, and the application and development of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Turkmentel-2025 will also feature an awards ceremony for the winners of the Digital Solution 2025 innovation project competition.
In parallel, participants will discuss the development of international transport and transit corridors. Turkmenistan, by consistently implementing its transport and communications strategy, is strengthening its position as a key logistics hub at the regional and global levels.
It's worth noting that Turkmenistan's initiatives in this area have received broad support from the international community. As a reminder, at the 70th plenary meeting of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, a resolution was adopted declaring November 26 as World Sustainable Transport Day.
The exhibition section of the forum will showcase the achievements of Turkmenistan's transport and communications sector, including promising projects and solutions aimed at expanding international partnerships and attracting investment in the industry.
