The Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, will make an official visit to Russia in October 2025. This was announced in a letter from the Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Valentina Matviyenko, TASS reports.
"We look forward to your official visit to the Russian Federation in October 2025. We hope it will not only strengthen Russian-Turkmen parliamentary dialogue but also leave you with many warm and joyful memories of your stay in Moscow," the message reads.
The Speaker of the Federation Council also congratulated Gulmanova and the members of the Turkmen parliament on Turkmenistan's Independence Day, celebrated on September 27.
"Today, Turkmenistan confidently demonstrates outstanding achievements in state building and economic development, setting a worthy example of successful work to improve the quality of life for its citizens," Matviyenko noted.
