The President of Turkmenistan signed a decree establishing hakimliks in the country's new administrative units. As reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, this decree specifically approves the establishment of the hakimlik of Altyn Asyr etrap in Ahal velayat, the hakimliks of Garashsyzlyk and Gubadag etraps in Dashoguz velayat, the hakimliks of Farab, Dovletly, and Garabekevul etraps in Lebap velayat, and the hakimlik of Oguzhan etrap in Mary velayat.
The hakimliks of the specified velayats have been instructed, together with the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, and the Ministry of Justice, to develop draft structures and staffing schedules for submission to the Cabinet of Ministers.
The measures are aimed at implementing the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socioeconomic Development of the Country in 2022–2028" and the "National Program for the Transformation of Social and Living Conditions of the Population" in a new edition.
