Turkmenistan intends to develop the metallurgical industry, as evidenced by the signed Memorandum of Understanding with the Austrian company Primetals Technologies Austria GmbH.
A memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Turkmenistan and Primetals Technologies Austria GmbH on the sidelines of the Investment Forum in Avaza, reports ussatnews.com.
Primetals Technologies Austria GmbH designs, develops, and supplies equipment for the metallurgical industry, and also provides automation and digitalization services. The company operates in the ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy sectors, as well as in metal recycling.
The signed memorandum will provide access to advanced technologies for the development of Turkmenistan's metallurgical industry, the source notes.
