Turkmen citizens can join the educational campaign “XI International Geographical Dictation”, which will take place on November 30.

The online version will be available for two weeks from November 30 to December 14, as reported on the website of the CIS Executive Committee.

The organizer of the campaign is the Russian Geographical Society.

As before, you can write the Geographical Dictation in schools and universities, museums and libraries, nature reserves and national parks, on trains, planes and in many other places.

Traditionally, the basic version includes 40 questions, divided into two parts by difficulty level. A simplified version in English (20 questions) has also been prepared for those who do not speak Russian. Translation of the campaign materials into other foreign languages is possible upon prior request.

All options are based on the best questions of the "Write Your Question for the Geographical Dictation" competition. The tasks also include materials prepared by the largest Russian companies and foreign partners of the Russian Geographical Society.

Over the 10 years of the Geographical Dictation, more than 4 million people from 136 countries have taken part in it. In 2024, more than 635 thousand people wrote the dictation on 10 thousand online platforms.
