In Geoktepe etrap of Akhal velayat, a new workshop of the Türkmen aýna öňümleri enterprise for the production of glass products with a capacity of 100 tons per day was ceremoniously put into operation. This was reported by the "Neutral Turkmenistan" newspaper.
The new production is aimed at satisfying domestic demand for construction materials, increasing the country's export potential and creating additional jobs.
The opening ceremony was attended by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Among the participants of the event were deputies of the Mejlis, members of the government, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production.
As reported earlier, at a government meeting on September 5, Deputy Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov reported on the completion of the construction of the industrial enterprise.
The ceremony was accompanied by performances by creative groups.
