In the new academic year, athletes who achieved high results in competitions became students of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. Their sporting achievements were taken into account as an important advantage during admission. This was reported by the newspaper "Turkmen Sport".
Among those admitted: 1 master of sports of international class, 34 candidates for master of sports, 43 winners of international competitions, 149 winners of national competitions and 146 winners of velayat competitions.
In addition, 194 of them are young athletes who are members of the national teams.
33 graduates of sports schools also joined the ranks of students of this higher educational institution.
