Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an order to provide humanitarian aid to the Afghan people affected by the earthquake. This was reported on the air of the news program "Watan".

According to the document, on behalf of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, medicines, food, textiles and other essential goods will be sent to Afghanistan. The aid is intended primarily for children and residents of areas most affected by the natural disaster.
