Hollywood actor Bruce Willis has moved into a new home located next to his main family residence. The decision to move was made in August 2025 due to the actor's deteriorating health.
Willis' wife Emma Heming said this in an interview with ABC. According to her, the move was necessary to ensure round-the-clock medical supervision of the actor, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. The diagnosis was made public in 2023.
The family acknowledged that the decision to move was not easy, but it was justified in terms of organizing constant care. The new home is specially equipped with the actor's needs in mind: the noise level is reduced and movement around the house is easier.
Relatives continue to be actively involved in Willis's life, spending a significant amount of time with him. They regularly come to have breakfasts and dinners together, help with everyday chores and maintain communication. The actor's children also often visit their father.
Doctors note that Bruce Willis' physical condition remains stable and does not cause serious concerns. The main difficulties are related to the brain dysfunctions characteristic of this type of dementia.
During his career, Bruce Willis took part in about 130 films. The actor gained the greatest popularity for his roles in the films “Die Hard” (1988), “Pulp Fiction” (1994), “Twelve Monkeys” (1995), “The Fifth Element” (1997), “Armageddon” (1998), “The Whole Nine Yards” (2000), “Sin City” (2005) and other films.
