Recently, a meeting with a delegation from the Center for International Language Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China was held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas.
As reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, during the meeting, issues of development and expansion of cooperation in the field of studying the Chinese language were discussed.
The delegation of the International Center proposed cooperation in providing methodological assistance in studying the Chinese language, organizing various types of training, and improving the level of professional skills of teachers.
Then the delegation of the Center visited the Oil and Gas Faculty of the University and got acquainted with the work of the Department of Languages.
The visit of the Chinese delegation took place within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation concluded in 2023 between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas and the China University of Petroleum (Beijing). The memorandum provides for the organization of Chinese language teaching at the university and work to improve the qualifications of teachers.
