Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Esen Aydogdyev sent a greeting to the participants and guests of the Russian-Turkmen concert "Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood", which will be held in Moscow on August 15.
In particular, the greeting reads:
"This concert is a musical dedication to the most important, significant events - the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality and the declaration by the United Nations, at the initiative of our country, of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust. For us, Turkmen diplomats working in Moscow and other Russian cities, it is especially significant that these events are widely and solemnly celebrated in Russia, and enjoy the support and assistance of our Russian partners. We highly appreciate this and consider it evidence of the genuine friendship, mutual understanding and respect that characterize the relations between the two countries and peoples.
One of the key areas of Turkmenistan's foreign policy is cultural cooperation. The initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Dialogue through Culture", put forward several years ago, today acquires special significance and is being implemented in real deeds. The most important area of this work is familiarization with Turkmen music, original traditions of musical art, including through holding joint concerts, organizing performances of Turkmen and Russian performers. Today, we can rightfully assert the immutability and strength of the traditions of cooperation and mutual enrichment.
In this regard, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the leadership of the Moscow Conservatory for providing the opportunity to hold this concert. It is significant that the Conservatory's graduates include a number of renowned Turkmen composers and performers, who are the pride of not only Turkmenistan, but also far beyond its borders, including in Russia.
I also express my gratitude to the brilliant musicians, creative figures of Turkmenistan and Russia and, of course, to the author of the project, Mamed Guseinov, as well as to everyone who took part in the preparation and organization of this musical evening.”
