During his working visit to Turkmenistan, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan visited a number of industrial and infrastructure facilities in the city of Turkmenbashy. As reported earlier, the head of Armenia arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the III UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.
According to the press service of the President of Armenia, Khachaturyan visited the Turkmenbashy oil processing complex (TOPC). The Armenian leader got acquainted with the work of the plant complex, the production chain - from oil production to the release of finished products, as well as production capacities. The President of Armenia expressed interest in possible areas of cooperation.
Then Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashy, where he was presented with the port’s capabilities, as well as the ongoing work on shipbuilding and ship repair.
