Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan will pay an official visit to Turkmenistan on August 4-7, where he will take part in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, Armenpress reports.
The conference will also be attended by UN Secretary-General António Guterres, heads of foreign states and governments, and heads of international and regional organizations.
The agenda includes issues of developing international cooperation in the areas of strengthening transport connectivity and trade facilitation, economic transformation, increasing resilience to climate change and environmental challenges, and achieving progress in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals.
