On August 3, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres arrived on a working visit to the city of Turkmenbashy to participate in the third conference on landlocked developing countries, which will be held in the Avaza national tourist zone, the news program "Watan" reports.
The plane of the UN chief landed at the Turkmenbashy International Airport, where a meeting was held between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
As we reported earlier, the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone is hosting participants of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries and other guests. At the Turkmenbashy International Airport, the forum participants are being met in the best traditions of national Turkmen hospitality.
