The Turkmenistan Kurash wrestling team is taking part in the Asian Championship. The tournament is being held in the South Korean city of Geosan.
The competition involves more than 300 athletes from over 20 countries of the Asian continent in various age categories - cadets, juniors and adults.
The official opening ceremony of the championship took place in the sports complex the day before. The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea Begench Durdyev took part in it.

The championship is broadcast on the official YouTube channel of the International Kurash Association.
The competition will last several days, during which the strongest wrestlers of the continent in various weight and age categories will be determined. In recent years, Turkmen kurash wrestlers have consistently been among the winners of international competitions.
