The closing ceremony of the World Orchestra Festival 2025 took place today in the Musikverein concert hall in Vienna.
Following the festival, by unanimous decision of the jury, the Youth Chamber Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the direction of Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Rasul Klychev was awarded the “Golden Flag” award in the “Chamber Orchestra” nomination.

At the same time, the jury highly praised the performance of the Turkmen musicians, presenting special certificates in the following categories: “Best Conductor”, “Best Performance of a Classical Work” and “Highest Mastery of Expressive Performance”.

This was reported to “Turkmenportal” by the chief specialist of the department of educational institutions, museums and libraries of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, Magtymguly Annagylyjov.

"The jury included famous conductors, representatives of musical art and professors of the Vienna Conservatory. The performance of the Youth Chamber Orchestra of Turkmenistan was highly appreciated by professionals. The president of the festival's creative committee, British conductor, professor Toby Purser expressed a desire to organize joint concerts with the orchestra and, if possible, to visit Turkmenistan," M. Annagylyjov noted.
Members of the Youth Chamber Orchestra of Turkmenistan expressed their sincere gratitude to the leadership of Turkmenistan for creating opportunities to participate in this prestigious event and for supporting the development of national culture and art.

Let us remind that this is the second gold award for Turkmen musicians at the World Festival of Orchestras: in 2024, they were also awarded the “Golden Flag” in the “Chamber Orchestra” nomination.
