The Central Asian International Economic Forum (CIEF-2025) concluded its work in Dushanbe on July 22. Representatives of government bodies, businesses and the expert community of Central Asian countries and Russia took part in the plenary session “Forming a regional space of trust, partnership and friendship,” Roscongress reports.
Speakers included Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Babaniyaz Yalakov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Akhliddin Nuriddinzoda, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Murat Kerefov, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Roman Chekushov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Tajikistan Semyon Grigoriev, Acting Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Shokhrukh Gulamov, founder of Wildberries Tatyana Kim and other business representatives.
The session discussed the development of transport corridors, digital platforms and the introduction of innovative technologies in industry and agriculture. Participants considered areas of cooperation in the field of digital economy, logistics, industrial partnership, youth and educational exchanges.
At the end of the plenary session, a Joint Declaration was signed. In the document, the parties confirmed their intentions to further deepen economic integration, expand trade and economic ties, and jointly address global challenges, including climate change and food security.
