The new asphalt plant in Dashoguz velayat, which was put into operation last year, operates on local raw materials.
As reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the crushed stone needed to prepare the mixture is supplied from a quarry located in the Boldumsaz etrap, and the bitumen from the Balkan velayat.
The plant, designed to produce 240 tons of products per hour, annually carries out a large volume of work to build new and reconstruct existing roads for various purposes.
High-tech production is based on equipment manufactured in Germany.
The development and modernization of the velayat's transport communications is being carried out consistently, taking into account the level of motorization, the rate of economic growth and the growing demand of the population for transport services, the source notes.
