The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan signed an agreement with the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship on joint work to strengthen the health of the younger generation.
As reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, the document was signed during a meeting at the ministry with the fund’s vice president for medical activities, Oguljahan Atabayeva.
According to the agreements reached, the charity fund will facilitate operations and rehabilitation of sick children. "The humane principles implemented by the Charity Fund are aimed at strengthening the health of the younger generation," it was noted during the meeting.
This year marks 30 years since the adoption of the State Program "Saglyk" ("Health") in Turkmenistan. Over the past period, large-scale changes have taken place in the country's healthcare system - advanced technologies and modern treatment methods are being introduced in all medical institutions, which ensures that the services provided comply with international standards. In various regions of the country, including the capital Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag, modern health centers that meet the requirements of the World Health Organization have been put into operation, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan writes.
