Schoolchildren from Turkmenistan, together with children from seven CIS countries, took part in the event “Belarus Day” within the framework of the “Children of the Commonwealth” campaign, where they became acquainted with Belarusian culture and traditions.
As reported on the website of the CIS Executive Committee, the children were able to see unique plants that are more than 250 million years old, get acquainted with authentic household items and become participants in ancient rituals.
The tourist complex "Nanosy" cordially welcomed the participants of the event with a loaf of bread and folk compositions. The guests were introduced to the old Belarusian peasant life and culture. The children were able to try on the role of a village baker.

Earlier, we reported that representatives of Turkmenistan are taking part in the 10th International Cultural and Educational Forum “Children of the Commonwealth”, which started on July 7 in Belarus, in the "Zubrenok" children’s center, located on the territory of the "Narochansky" National Park.
