President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations to the leader of Argentina Javier Gerardo Miley and the people of the country on the occasion of the republic's Independence Day, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

Argentina's Independence Day is a national holiday celebrated on July 9 to commemorate the declaration of independence from Spain in 1816. It is a public holiday and is celebrated throughout the country.
