Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov will pay a state visit to Tajikistan on July 8-9 and meet with the head of the republic Emomali Rahmon, the press service of the head of Kyrgyzstan reported.
“Within the framework of the state visit, bilateral talks with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, as well as meetings with the speakers of the two chambers of parliament and the country’s prime minister are planned,” the statement said.
The adoption of a joint statement by the heads of the two states is expected, as well as the signing of a number of bilateral documents, the department added.
In addition, the visit will include a Kyrgyz-Tajik economic and investment forum, as well as a concert “Eternal Friendship” with the participation of artists from the two countries.
