A Turkmen enterprise has exported four tons of ice cream to the United Arab Emirates for the first time. A batch of caramel, chocolate and cream ice cream was sent to Dubai, "MIR24" TV channel reports.
The export was carried out by one of the leading confectionery enterprises of Turkmenistan, located in the southeast of the country. The products are made from high-quality local ingredients.
The enterprise is one of the largest ice cream producers in the region with a daily capacity of up to 17 tons. The factory employs over 5 thousand people, the retail network includes about 20 thousand points of sale throughout Turkmenistan.
"All products undergo daily laboratory quality control. Export confectionery products undergo more thorough checks to ensure safety during transportation. For frozen products, maintaining a temperature of minus 30 to minus 35 degrees Celsius is critical," said Serdar Hojageldyev, head of the enterprise's laboratory department.
The company supplies confectionery products to more than 15 countries, including Russia, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
