Trade turnover between Russia and Turkmenistan increased by more than 21% in the first three months of 2025, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
"We are working on further development of the large-scale potential of trade and economic cooperation. Russia remains one of Turkmenistan's largest partners. In the first three months of this year alone, trade turnover has grown by more than 21%," Lavrov noted, speaking to employees of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan and teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that this is not the limit, given the potential of the economies of the two countries.
