The monument "Eternal Glory" was erected in honor of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
Let us remind that Lavrov arrived in Ashgabat on June 24 for talks with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov. It is planned to exchange views on issues of the regional agenda and the international situation, interaction within the framework of multilateral formats.
Following the visit, it is also planned that the heads of the MFA of the two countries will sign the Cooperation Program between the Foreign Ministries for 2025-2026.
