The staff of the Indian Embassy in Ashgabat held an event in honor of the International Day of Yoga at the “Bagtyyarlyk” sports complex. This year, the International Day of Yoga is celebrated for the 11th time and is dedicated to the theme “Yoga for the Earth and General Health.”
Deputy Minister of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan Azat Ovezov was present at the event as an honorary guest, reports “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

In her speech, Indian Ambassador Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat noted the importance and usefulness of incorporating yoga into everyday life.
