President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree “On the production of a rich wheat harvest in Turkmenistan in 2026.”
The document is aimed at significantly increasing wheat production and creating the necessary conditions for the work of farmers' associations, tenants and land owners.
According to the resolution, the State Association Türkmengallaönümleri together with the velayat hyakimliks is instructed to sow wheat on the established area and ensure the production of the crop in the appropriate volume. The work will be carried out on the basis of contracts with land tenants, land users and land owners.
