President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on moving the day off associated with the celebration of the Day of the Constitution and the State Flag of Turkmenistan from May 18 to May 19 (Monday). This was reported by the information program “Watan” of national television.

According to the document, the decision was made “in order to create favorable conditions for the solemn celebration of the Day of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the State Flag of Turkmenistan, comfortable rest of the country’s population.”

The decree requires all departments, enterprises and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership, to ensure its implementation in accordance with Part 2 of Article 81 of the Labor Code of Turkmenistan.
