1. National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated the “Arkadag” football club on winning the AFC Challenge League Cup. "This triumphant success, achieved in the International Year of Peace and Trust, has become a worthy gift for the jubilee, 30th anniversary of the neutrality of the Fatherland! Your next achievement has further increased the authority of the Motherland in the international sports arena," the congratulations of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty read.
2. The cash prize received by the “Arkadag” football club for winning the AFC Challenge League will be used to build a new building for the Bazar Amanov State Children's Library in Ashgabat. "Considering your request to transfer the cash prize won by the “Arkadag” football team at the prestigious international tournament to the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, we have decided to use these funds to build a new building for the Bazar Amanov State Children's Library," reads the congratulatory message from the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the “Arkadag” football club.
3. The Alley of Memory, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, was opened on the territory adjacent to the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan. More than 100 coniferous and deciduous trees were planted as part of the event.
4. On May 19 and 20, the Mukam Palace in Ashgabat will host the “Music of the World” Festival, which will bring together academic music stars from different countries on one stage. Among the guests of the event will be the art director of the Moscow International Arts Festival “Sounds of Dutar” named after Nury Halmamedov Mamed Huseynov and his wife, opera singer, artist of the Moscow “Helikon Opera” Theater Darya Huseynova.
5. Students from Turkmenistan won 1 silver and 3 bronze medals at the 59th International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad for Schoolchildren, which was held from May 5 to 13 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. In particular, Rustem Jumayev was awarded a silver medal among Turkmen schoolchildren. Bronze medals were awarded to Aigul Atajanova, Diyar Dovletov and Jeren Akmuradova. About 200 schoolchildren from 40 countries took part in the international Olympiad.
6. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the UN Resident Coordinators in the countries of Central Asia. It was noted that the UN plays a key role in strengthening peace, security, human rights and sustainable development in the region. In recent years, Central Asia has become a platform for the implementation and scaling of many UN initiatives in the field of combating climate change, water and food security, gender equality, digitalization of public services, education and healthcare.

1. The International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum", held in Kazan from May 13 to 18, attracted more than 10 thousand people from 103 countries. The event opened with a welcoming address by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The largest delegations represent Malaysia, Türkiye, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, the UAE, Iran, Nigeria and Senegal.
2. Apple is developing an innovative interface for controlling devices using the power of thought. To implement this project, the technology giant is collaborating with the American startup Syncron. The peculiarity of the Syncron implant is its minimal invasiveness - it is installed through the jugular vein without the need for surgery in the skull. The device reads neural signals associated with movement intentions and converts them into commands for the iPhone, Apple Vision Pro and other devices in the Apple ecosystem. The technology is currently being tested among patients with movement disorders. One of the program participants is already using Apple Vision Pro for communication and entertainment, activating the device's functions with the power of thought.

1. The 45th General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) was held at a high organizational level in Kuwait. The event was attended by the current President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach, the newly elected President Kirsty Coventry, the heads of the International Olympic Committee, the heads of the Association of National Olympic Committees, the presidents of the Asian federations, as well as the Secretary General of the Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan Atajan Akmammedov and representatives of the National Olympic Committees of 45 Asian countries.
