National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with members of the Cabinet of Ministers to hold high-level events on the occasion of the announcement of 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust” and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality.
According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH), the program of celebrations includes numerous cultural events with the participation of young people and the reception of foreign delegations. Particular attention will be paid to the development of trade infrastructure during the celebration.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty noted the historical importance of the upcoming anniversary for the Turkmen people. Turkmenistan’s neutrality status is internationally recognized and has been twice confirmed by special resolutions of the UN General Assembly.
Preparations for the anniversary celebrations have already begun in all government agencies of the country. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed to ensure a high organizational level of all planned events.
