President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution ordering the planting of deciduous, coniferous, fruit trees and grapes in 2025, TDH reports.
According to the document, ministries and departments, Ashgabat and Arkadag city administrations and other institutions are ordered to plant 1.5 million seedlings, and the other 1.5 million seedlings are ordered to be planted by regional administrations.
“Ministries, departments, regional administrations, Ashgabat and Arkadag cities are ordered to plant fruit tree and grape seedlings by variety on separately allocated land plots, and to irrigate deciduous, coniferous, fruit trees and grapes using drip irrigation,” the report says.
The document also instructs the Ministry of Environmental Protection to provide ministries, departments, regional administrations, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag with grape seedlings and three-year-old tree seedlings in sufficient quantities and to monitor the planting and care of them.
