The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the military and law enforcement agencies in the city of Arkadag, TDH reports.

“Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed dissatisfaction with the level of organization of events held recently in the city of Arkadag, noting that the measures taken to maintain law and order are not being implemented properly, and control over the activities of the military and law enforcement officers has been weakened,” the report says.

According to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, representatives of the services that should monitor compliance with law and order have lost sight of this work. The activities of the road transport and other services also do not meet the requirements of the day. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the heads of the relevant departments to promptly correct the mistakes made in the subordinate services and restore order.

Addressing the audience, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that they are required to fulfill the oath of allegiance to the Motherland and serve it.

“If you do not fulfill your duty, you will be punished accordingly as military and law enforcement agencies for failure to maintain order and discipline,” said the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
