The State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan has begun developing a new payment system, «Galkynyş», aimed at expanding the range of remote banking services for organizations and individuals. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimyradov at a regular government meeting.
The initiative is part of the program to digitalize the country's banking sector and improve the efficiency of financial services. The proposal to introduce a new payment system was approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
After hearing the report, the head of state instructed to carry out all necessary work to implement the «Galkynyş» system, emphasizing the importance of constantly improving the quality of banking services in the country and developing digital technologies in the financial sector.
