The Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan hosted a ceremonial conference entitled “Arkadagly Serdaryň dünýä uzan ak ýoly – Halkara parahatçylyk we ynanyşmak ýyly” on the occasion of the proclamation of the 2025 motto – “International Year of Peace and Trust”, TDH reports.

The event was attended by members of the Government, representatives of the Mejlis, Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, ministries and departments, public organizations, as well as science, creative intelligentsia, higher education institutions, and the media.

An exhibition of decorative and applied art works dedicated to the independence and neutrality of the country, the prosperous life of Turkmenistan, and the history of the Turkmen people was opened in the foyer of the Mukam Palace.

The conference was preceded by a song based on the poem by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Turkmenistan – Homeland of Peace and Trust”.

New poems were also read and songs dedicated to the motto of 2025 were performed.

The literary and musical composition «Türkmeniň agzybirlik ýoly baky dowamdyr!» performed by artists of the Main Academic Drama Theater named after the Great Saparmurat Turkmenbashy reflected the peacekeeping foreign policy implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, great achievements in the name of sustainable development and prosperity in the region and the world.

The audience was especially delighted with the song «Arkadagyň parasady paýhasy – parahatlyk, ynanyşmak binýady», glorifying the great initiatives of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty. The patriotic song «Uzak ýaşaň, Arkadagly Serdarymyz!» was a wonderful end to the concert.
