The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan Nurlan Nogaev made a working visit to the Balkan velayat from December 17 to 18.
During the visit, meetings were held with the hyakim of the Balkan velayat, Hojamyrad Ashyrmyradov, and the hyakim of the city of Turkmenbashi, Amangeldy Isaev, nCa reports with reference to the social networks of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan.
The main topics of discussion were energy, transport infrastructure, oil and gas industry and trade and economic cooperation. Particular attention is paid to projects in the field of transit of energy resources and the development of transport corridors that help increase trade turnover between the two countries.
The parties also reviewed plans to hold joint cultural events, exhibitions and festivals designed to strengthen ties between the peoples of the two countries.
Within the framework of his visit, the Ambassador visited the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, the Turkmenbashy oil processing complex and the Garabogaz Urea Plant.
