From November 19 to 21, a Turkmen delegation headed by the governor of the Mary velayat Begenchmyrad Orazov visited the province of Herat, information about this was provided to Turkmenportal by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Afghanistan.
During the working visit, meetings were held with the Governor of Herat Province Nur Ahmad Islamjar, the Governor of Badghiz Province Abdul Samad Javid and heads of relevant government agencies. During the meetings, the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two fraternal countries were discussed. The Afghan side expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the assistance and comprehensive support provided by neighboring Turkmenistan.
As part of a working visit to Herat Province, the Turkmen delegation visited the Industrial City of Herat Province, where they got acquainted with the work of large enterprises. The delegation members also examined the ancient historical and cultural monuments of the province.
