A hot air balloon with a portrait of Magtymguly framed by the flags of two friendly countries, Turkmenistan and Türkiye, was launched into the sky of Cappadocia. This action took place as part of an event that the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Türkiye held jointly with the EcoEurasia Foundation and the Association for Cooperation of Civil Society of the Turkic World.

As patronlardunyasi.com reports, the event in honor of the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen classic was held in the resort town of Goreme in Nevsehir - one of the attractive tourist destinations in Turkey.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ankara Mekan Ishankuliyev emphasized that Cappadocia is an important tourist region of Turkey, it is world famous for its hot air ballooning sites.

“That is why we are holding an event in honor of the outstanding Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi right here, among the enchanting landscapes of Cappadocia”, - the ambassador said.

The balloon with the portrait of Magtymguly Fragi and the flags of the two countries soared into the sky at dawn. Ambassador M. Ishankuliyev and the delegation accompanying him were also on board the balloon.

The balloon hovered over the valleys covered with a fairy-tale haze, opening up an unforgettable spectacle for the participants.
