Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Çalık Holding Group of Companies Ahmet Çalık spoke at the international conference “Construction, Industry, Energy of Turkmenistan – 2024” (CIET 2024), which opened today in Ashgabat.

In his speech, Ahmet Çalık noted the importance of the conference, which brought together leading industry representatives to discuss innovative technologies and solutions. He emphasized that Turkmenistan, thanks to its political and economic stability, continues to attract foreign investment.

“Our companies have been operating in Turkmenistan for many years, and during this time we have implemented many projects in the construction, industrial and energy sectors,” Çalık said. “We are proud to continue our cooperation in other sectors, such as healthcare, textile and chemical industries.”

Çalık also spoke about the company’s current projects, including the construction of a 1,574-megawatt combined-cycle power plant in the Balkan velayat and participation in the international Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan power transmission line project. He expressed confidence that the discussions at the conference will lead to further progress in the construction, industry and energy sectors of Turkmenistan.

The CIET 2024 International Conference is being held in Ashgabat on November 3-5. More than 330 delegates from 30 countries are taking part in the event. The initiators of the three-day forum, dedicated to the Day of Workers of the Construction and Industrial Complex of Turkmenistan, are the State Concern «Turkmenchemistry», the State Agency for Management of Road Construction, the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production and the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan.
