The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan is preparing a draft Strategy for the Development of Higher Education in the country for 2026-2052.
The document will include key areas for modernizing the educational process, including: creating innovative educational centers and laboratories at universities, developing a startup ecosystem and entrepreneurial culture among students, strengthening the integration of science and production, and introducing flexible curricula focused on labor market development forecasts.
As reported on the ministry's website, special attention will be paid to the digitalization of education, training personnel for high-tech industries and creating conditions for continuous professional development.
The strategy also provides for active interaction with employers and the participation of educational institutions in transforming the country's economy in the context of global changes.
The document will be submitted for consideration to the next convocation of the Halk Maslahaty, the source notes.
