90s star Gwen Stefani celebrates her 55th birthday. Her career began in the 90s when the song Don't Speak unexpectedly became a hit, reflecting Stefani's personal experiences after breaking up with the bassist of the band No Doubt.
Growing up in California in a large middle-class family, Gwen was fond of singing from childhood. Together with her older brother, she founded No Doubt, which, after two unsuccessful albums, suddenly gained popularity with the release of the third, which included the hits Don't Speak and Just a Girl.
