A branch of the Innovation and Information Center of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan has opened in Turkmenabat at the specialized secondary school No. 32.

As reported by «Turkmenistan: Golden Age», the opening ceremony was attended by the director and staff of the Innovation and Information Center, as well as from the Main Education Department of the Lebap velayat, directors, teachers and students of comprehensive schools.

The branch of the IIC in Turkmenabat is aimed at introducing innovative teaching methods in higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, comprehensive schools. On the basis of the center, teachers of schools and universities will study the use of modern information technologies.

It is also planned to conduct training courses that meet international standards both to expand the professional competencies of education specialists and to improve the language and computer literacy of citizens.

Students on the courses will be able to choose a convenient time for themselves in the morning, afternoon or evening classes. The range of educational services of the IIC branch includes courses in English, Russian, Arabic, Korean, German, and other humanitarian and special subjects.

In addition, the IIC will hold various events aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and introducing people to educational and interesting leisure activities, the source notes.
