Murat Babageldyev and Muhammеd Muhutdinov from Turkmenistan signed professional contracts with the Al-Etihad club from Abu Dhabi (UAE). The agreement is for one year.

Murat Babageldyev, who has already become the captain of the youth team of Turkmenistan, is a graduate of the capital’s Ak Altyn club. He spent three years in the youth team of Ahal, and at the beginning of this year he joined Arkadag.

Muhammet Muhutdinov also began his career in Ak Altyn, after which he played for the youth team of Ashgabat and the main team of Ahal.
The management of Al Etihad highly appreciated the potential of both players. This transfer not only opens up new opportunities for the players themselves, but can also contribute to strengthening football ties between Turkmenistan and the UAE, as well as increasing interest in Turkmen football in the international arena.
