An international conference dedicated to seed production of agricultural crops will be held in Ashgabat this September. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated this at a working meeting with leaders of the country’s agricultural sector, TDH reports.

The head of state instructed the relevant leaders to carefully prepare for this international conference and hold it at a high level.

The President also emphasized that the agricultural sector is one of the main sectors of the national economy, and gave specific instructions to the khyakims of the velayats and other leaders for the development of this important area.
