Lionsgate has announced the completion of filming on the Michael Jackson biopic. The film entitled “Michael” will be released on world screens on April 18, 2025, writes championat.com.
Along with this news, the filmmakers shared the first still from the film and a photo from the set.
The biopic will chronicle Jackson's life, from his difficult childhood to the most iconic moments of his career. The legendary musician's mother, Katherine Jackson, expressed her support for the project, saying she was glad her son's legacy would live on.
The director of the movie «Michael» was Antoine Fuqua. The role of Michael Jackson was played by his nephew, Jafar Jackson. Having been fond of music and dancing since childhood, Jafar was ideal for this role.
