President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent their condolences to the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran in connection with the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi as a result of a helicopter accident that occurred on May 19 in the Iranian province of East Azerbaijan.

This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, Turkmenistan announced its readiness to provide assistance in connection with the helicopter accident.
