The national holiday of the Turkmen people, Oraza Bayram, will be celebrated on April 10. The corresponding Decree was signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as reported in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.
In particular, the Decree decides:
1. Hold the National Holiday of the Turkmen people Oraza Bayram on April 10, 2024.
2. All institutions, enterprises and organizations, regardless of their form of ownership, ensure the implementation of this Decree.
The document was signed in order to further strengthen the unity, harmony and cohesion of the Turkmen people, respect for centuries-old traditions and customs, preservation of spiritual wealth, and also in accordance with Article 81 of the Labor Code of Turkmenistan.
