A nationwide tree planting campaign will take place in Turkmenistan on March 16. The corresponding Resolution was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during a Government meeting, TDH reports.
The landscaping campaign is carried out “in order to transform the country into a blooming garden, create forest areas and properly care for planted tree seedlings, as well as implement the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan No. 867 of February 9, 2024 “On planting trees in Turkmenistan in 2024.”
The document instructs ministries, departments, hyakimliks of velayats, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag to ensure that the action is carried out at a high organizational level.
Let us remind you that in total, 3 million different types of seedlings are planned to be planted in the country in 2024.
