At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to carry out work to prepare land for the cotton sowing season in accordance with agrotechnical deadlines and with high quality, writes TDH.
As reported at the meeting, appropriate measures are currently being taken to prepare areas for cotton sowing, and agricultural machinery and seed materials are being prepared for spring sowing. Also, in order to obtain a rich wheat harvest, care for the crops of this crop continues, and the necessary work is being carried out to provide the population with potatoes and vegetable and melon products grown in the country.
Speaking about the importance of providing agricultural crops with irrigation water, the head of state instructed to give priority attention to water collection in the country’s reservoirs.
