1. The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the country's Armed Forces, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, held a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The agenda included consideration of the results of the work of the country’s military and law enforcement agencies for January 2024. Priority tasks have also been identified to ensure security and stability in the country, strengthen the material and technical base of security forces, and further improve their activities, writes the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
2. The President of Turkmenistan appointed junior justice adviser Allanazarov Nedirguly Orazgulyevich as the prosecutor of the city of Ashgabat, releasing him from the post of deputy prosecutor of the Ahal velayat. The head of state signed the corresponding Decree during a regular meeting of the State Security Council.
3. A photo exhibition dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the outstanding classic of Turkmen literature Magtymguly Fragi has opened in Yerevan. The organizers were the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Armenia and the Union of Artists of Armenia. Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov, opening the event, noted that the brilliant poet, philosopher and thinker Magtymguly Fragi left his descendants an immortal literary heritage that has become part of world culture and the property of all mankind.
