President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahaliyev, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and the hyakims of the velayats, at which the progress of agricultural work in the regions of the country was reviewed, TDH reports.

As noted, these days in the regions of Turkmenistan, wheat is being cared for in accordance with agricultural technology standards. In preparation for sowing cotton, plowing and leveling of areas, checking the readiness of agricultural equipment and units, as well as timely supply of farmers with high-quality seed material are carried out. Along with this, equipment, fields and seeds are being prepared for planting potatoes and other crops.
Along with this, during these winter days, daily monitoring is carried out over the uninterrupted functioning of the heating systems of residential buildings, schools, kindergartens and other social facilities.

Having listened to the report and emphasizing the importance of the tasks facing the agro-industrial complex, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to keep the focus on preparing the areas allocated for cotton and high-quality seed material for the upcoming season, compliance with agrotechnical deadlines and standards when caring for wheat, and land cultivation for planting potatoes and other fruits and vegetables, as well as providing farmers with seeds.

Addressing the heads of velayat administrations, the head of state ordered to keep under control preparations for the upcoming important sowing season, the readiness of agricultural machinery and units, as well as maintaining the uninterrupted functioning of heating systems in residential buildings and social facilities during these winter days.
